And other thoughts of that sort.
Classes finally ended and it came time to put up the set. After finally mastering that task we ate supper then gathered back together to pray. The devotion was given on Hebrews 11:1 and Ephesians 3:20 talking about faith. Believing for things that we have never seen and letting it up to God to make the miraculous happen. With the play being about certain topics, made it seem kind of hard to minister to the Bible school students knowing that most of them have never had to face such a situation.
Other than the power switch being turned off on accident and Katrina Freeman (Tree) was left singing “I want to wish you a Merry Christmas” in the dark. The play went very well.
Like I said before, I was not sure how the altar call would turn out since the topic of the play was not really geared to students, but I knew God had a plan.
It came time and each character came out for the ending the altar call”. Bro. Chris LePelley did a tremendous job with it but yet it seemed like something just would not give. After pulling for individuals he gave the general altar call for everyone to come and pray. Then is when Bro. Peretic stood up and spoke what the Lord put on his heart. He felt that the different pastors and pastor’s wives in the building needed to come forward. Not because they were sinners but because they need encouragement too. We prayed that God would strengthen them and bless them. It was an amazing turn out.
Like I said before, we began the night all nervous and wondering what would come of tonight while all along God had the divine plan all in store. It’s so exciting to see and wonder what the Lord will do these next few days. I thank the Lord for such a wonderful opportunity!!!

You would think putting on the play, at a place we called our 2nd home, would be easy. But not for this play cast team. As the day began with morning prayers and classes so did the nervousness of many of us. The thoughts that went though our heads as the day went on: “What are they going to think of it?” “Don’t forget your lines this time.” “Hey don’t forget to cut that one part out.” “Who has the curtains?” “Lights!!! Music!!!”Classes finally ended and it came time to put up the set. After finally mastering that task we ate supper then gathered back together to pray.
